SAF Tehnika’s product range includes various models that encompass both split system (IDU and ODU modules) and FODU (Full Outdoor Unit). Most units are available with UTP or fibre optic data interface ports, and dual port devices can have a combination of both interface types. Fibre ports can be specified as multi-mode or single-mode.

System topologies supported include ring/mesh, 1+0 unprotected, 1+1 hot standby, 1+1 space diversity or frequency diversity, 2+0 using built in Ethernet aggregation for higher data throughput. Some models support 3+0 and 4+0 modes of operation.

CFIP Lumina

Intended for Gigabit Ethernet backbone applications. CFIP Lumina systems are delivering up to 366 Mbps per radio. 2+0 aggregation is available for higher bandwidth users. Both single or dual, electrical and fibre optical interface versions are available, as well as hybrid version with 1 optical and 1 electrical port.

CFIP 106/108

Intended for IP networks providing Fast Ethernet interface. CFIP-106/108 is primarily designed for IP networks and provides Fast Ethernet interface with capacities from 8 Mbps up to full duplex 100 Mbps Fast Ethernet. In addition to that, CFIP-108 has a 4xE1 port for legacy equipment connectivity and for use in hybrid TDM/IP networks.
